The Fox and Hounds now...

The owners, Rob and Helen, are proud to welcome you to the Fox and Hounds. Since taking over in 2006 they have worked hard to create a comfortable and friendly environment with a high level of service which people want to return to again and again. They have not only succeeded in making the Fox and Hounds an excellent food destination for the whole family, they have also turned it into a lively community pub providing a wide range of entertainment.

The Conservatory

Our large mediterranean-style conservatory is a favourite with our customers, providing the light and warmth of a summer's evening even on the wettest and coldest days. The conservatory, which is attached to the side of the restaurant, can be hired out for special celebrations either for a sit down meal or for more casual buffets. It can be hired alone for up to 30 guests or include part or all of the restaurant for larger parties. The conservatory and restaurant combined can seat up to 80 guests in comfort.

The Restaurant

Our charming restaurant is the perfect place for an intimate candlelit dinner or larger celebrations, with tables seating couples as well as families and large parties.
Food Service Times:
Mon - Frid 12.00 - 14.30 & 18.00 - 21.00.
Sat & Sun, all day, 12.00 - 21.00
To avoid disappointment, booking is advisable for evenings and on Sundays.

TEXAS HOLD'EM POKER

On Monday and Thursday evenings at 7.15pm.
An evening of poker with a 2 course supper included in the price. For experienced players and beginners, who will have the chance to learn the game.
Play just for fun and earn points towards a league table with end of season tournaments for prizes. Or for a added £5, play for money with small stake cash prizes in the second half of the evening. There is a website with access to league points, information and a chat line for players. Price only £7 per person (which includes a 2 course supper).

TUESDAY & THURSDAY MEAL DEAL FOR TWO

Costs £19.99 per couple - Available Tuesday and Thursday evenings only. Meal deal for two - two main meals and a bottle of house wine (or 2 alternative drinks- one each). The meals that are included in this deal are marked with 'TMD' on our evening menu.
If you wish to order wine that is not one of our house wines, the difference in the price will be added to the cost of your meal. If you wish to order steak with any of the meal deals, there will be a £4 supplement for Ribeye and £5 for Sirloin.

SENIOR CITIZENS SPECIAL

Costs £5.95 per person - Available Monday to Friday lunchtimes only. The chef will choose a main meal and dessert each day for the Senior Citizens special.

SATURDAY MEAL DEAL FOR TWO

Costs £34.95 per couple - A choice of starters and mains and a bottle of house wine to share (or two alternative drinks - one each). Any desserts can be ordered off the specials board with £1 off the marked price. A special menu will be available for this meal deal.
